Schlafly Brewery Tour, Part 2

Before I go on, you may ask, "Justin, you idiot! There is no 'Schlafly Brewery Tour, Part 1'!" I would say "Fred, you are the idiot! We took the Schlafly Brewery Tour in March." Yesterday, I went with my brother-in-law and his friend from Milwaukee to the Schlafly Brewery Tour. Since March, OSHA found out that they give tours on there brewery floor. They flipped and now you have to have safety glasses at the tour and you cannot wear open-toed shoes. I had sandals so I was kicked out of the group. However, they gave me FREE beer while I was waiting for 30 minutes! Not only was it free, it was the delicious, delicious pumpkin ale (which contains 8%+ alcohol). And when the tour was over, I got to enjoy in the free samples with the tour group. Best tour ever.

Anyway, Schlafly's, as most of you know, is fan-"freakin"-tastic, and I highly recommend the pumpkin ale during the fall. It is one of their autumn seasonals, along with the Saison Ale, which was good too, and the Oktoberfest, which is OK.

Finally, the Schlafly Bottleworks has great food. Much of it is from Missouri and healthy. Whenever you come to visit, Schlafly's on me!

This is unrelated, but I was just had a grammatical query for you. In this post you stated that Schlafly was fan-"freakin"-tastic. However previously you stated that Step-Brothers was fan-freakin-tastic. So which is it?

Maybe you can post giving us a complete and proper dissertation on the proper grammatical use of said expression.

Thank you.

Touche. It is just fan-freakin-tastic. I get confused sometimes.

I completely agree that Schlafly is fan-friggin-tastic (see what I did there?)

I recently found out that Sam's carries 24 packs of it here in Springfield (a 4 flavor medley, and a 24 of the season brew - currently "Ocktoberfest"), which is refreshing, cause I hated having to pay $8+ for a 6-pack from Price Cutter or Brown Derby when I felt like enjoying The "Fly".

I can't wait for my own Schlafly Tour Part 2, which will hopefully occur sometime prior to the next MVC weekend, and hopefully will include a sample of the fine Missouri food Justin is raving about...
